List of individuals who are not required for K-ETA and those who are exempted from K-ETA

■ Those who are not required for K-ETA and do NOT need to apply as exception of K-ETA
① Nationals of Republic of Korea and dual nationality holders who have a valid Korean passport
② Active service members of the United States Armed Forces according to the US-ROK Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)
③ Flight attendants and Seafarers
④ ABTC (APEC) holders
⑤ Transfer passengers
※ Transfer passengers are required to obtain K-ETA approval on the following conditions:
1) If the transfer passenger needs to enter the Republic of Korea because of itinerary change (or change of destination)
2) If the transfer passenger needs to enter the Republic of Korea to reclaim their baggage
⑥ Registered foreigners and VISA holders
⑦ UN passport holders
⑧ Diplomatic ∙ Official passport holders
➈ Those who are 17 years old and younger or 65 years old and older (on the date of entry)
➉ Cruise Travelers
