Some countries, including Malaysia, do not have a distinction between surname and given name in the MRZ (the 88-character string at the bottom of the passport's identity page).

Therefore, it is correct that both the surname and given name are entered as the surname.

You may upload the photo wearing religious clothing for religious purposes. However, the face of the applicant (from the forehead to the chin) should be shown clearly.

No. You need to choose the one that best describes your employment status at the time of applying. Even though your occupation has changed after you got K-ETA approval, you do not need to re-apply.

Please contact the card company if a 3DS (payer authentication) error message appears when you are making the payment.

If you renewed your passport due to modifying the name, passport loss/renewal, etc, you need to re-apply for K-ETA even if you had approval for the previous passport.

The passport used on the boarding pass, the one you will be using to enter Korea, and the one used in the K-ETA approval must all be the same. Therefore, please use the same passport in the circumstances mentioned as above.

K-ETA is no longer required for visa-free travelers who are 17 years old or younger, and 65 years old or older when they are entering the Republic of Korea.

If you are a non-member, you need to access the official K-ETA website and select [Continue] or [Continue Application] under the [K-ETA Application] tab and re-authenticate the e-mail address you entered when applying. When a pop-up “Would you like to continue with a temporary saved information?” comes up, click [Confirm] to retrieve your application. You can check, add members or make a payment for your application.

If you are a member, after logging in, you need to and select [Continue] or [Continue Application] under the [K-ETA Application] tab at the official K-ETA website. You can check, add members or make a payment for your application.

Please be informed that if the saved form is not retrieved within 7 days, it will be deleted automatically.

K-ETA is no longer required for visa-free travelers who are 17 years old or younger, and 65 years old or older. However, if they turn 18 years old on the day of arrival, they are required to have K-ETA approval to enter the country.
